Eric, 45, joined the VFD in 2010. His favorite trucks are Rescue and E1 and he finds any position to be rewarding. Since joining the Fire Dept. he has had the opportunity to take and pass the S300 couse. His goal is to take as many courses as he can in order to become certified in as many aspects of firefighting and rescue as possible.

Eric works at the Vegreville Composite High School as a Science and Automotive Teacher. He is married to Melanie and they have two children; a son Jeff and a daughter Elyssa.

In his spare time Eric enjoys hunting, sledding, and other outdoor activities.
