Dale, 43, has been on the VFD since 1988. His favourite Truck in the department is our Rescue Unit, and of course he is a top notch officer at any scene that we have come upon. When it comes to authority, Dale ranks right up there, as he has complete control when put in charge. In 2004, Dale received the Provincial and National Medals of Bravery (see Awards Page), and was a member of the 2004 Provincial Hose Coupling Championship Team. He has also received the Alberta Service Medal, and was our 2003 VFD Employee of the Year. 

Dale is married to Michelle and has one son, Darcy and one daughter, Dayna. He is employed with the Town of Vegreville as Infrastructure and Planning Director. His personal interests include camping, quading, fishing, sledding.......you get the picture....anything outdoors!
