Al, 53, joined the VFD in September of 1997. He is a valuable asset to the department as an officer and also our main service technician for all the apparatus. Al has completed many fire/rescue courses throughout his years of service as well as being one of our SCO's. He was also a member of the Taber Fire Dept. from 1981 to 1987 before moving to Vegreville.

Al is married to Marjorie and has one son Bradley and a daughter Kimberly. He enjoys camping, woodworking, and old cars. Al is employed with the Town of Vegreville as a Service Technician with Public Works.
