Kaela, 23, joined the VFD as a Junior F.F. in 2004 and has since earned full firefighter status. Her favorite truck is the Rescue Unit (she also enjoys "holding down the fort" in the dispatch room). Kaela has been certified in numerous fire/rescue courses since she joined the VFD.

She is currently employed with the Town of Vegreville in a Clerical role with the EMS department.

Kaela is single and enjoys spending her spare time camping, quadding, fishing, sledding, playing softball and spending time with her dogs.

Her goal is to become a registered EMR and then move up to being an EMT.
