Mark, 47, has been with the VFD since 1995. He was appointed Deputy Chief in 1999. Being second in command, Mark's favourite truck is the Command Unit. He has completed many fire/rescue courses over the years as well as being a registered EMR. Mark has recieved the Alberta Service Medal and is a member of the 2004 and 2005 Provincial Hose Coupling Championship Team. He has also been a member of the Peace River FD and High Level FD.

Mark is married to Chris and has two daughters, Victoria and Michelle. He enjoys being a firefighter, his family, rock and roll, a nice summer day on the beach, and a cold beer. Mark is employed with Atco Electric in Vegreville.
