Al, 53, has been with the VFD since 1990. His favorite truck and position is Pump Operator on Engine #1. Al has numerous fire/rescue certifications as well as a  FMR and a Registered Engineering Technologist. Al has received the Alberta Service Medal and is a very respected firefighter with the VFD.

Al's family, which include his wife and three children, is a very important part of his life, as well as helping others and learning new skills in all areas. His interests include sports and outdoor activities.
