Personal Information
Marital status: married
Family: wife – Colleen, daughter – Alexis (6), son – Aiden (3)
Personal Interests: I enjoy playing all types of sports, in particular hockey, golf and weightlifting. I also enjoy spending time with my kids and participating in their interests. Life at the Douglas household seems to roll at a frantic pace. I have recently started my career with ATCO Electric as a Business Analyst and commute to Edmonton on a daily basis. When not spending time with my family, I pursue my CGA designation via course work at night. In the time that remains, I like to work on different improvement projects around the house and try hard to squeeze in my workout when possible.
Interests/goals: Professionally, I have recently entered into the CGA program and hope to be accredited within two years. In terms of volunteer goals, I hope to be able to continue to broaden my knowledge of firefighting practices – with particular attention to attending more courses like Pump A & B. As well, I am enjoying my time as President and hope to be able to continue to work with my fellow members in furthering the goals of the Club.
