Richard, 43, joined the VFD in September of 2004. His favorite truck is E1. Since joining the department Richard has taken First Aid/CPR training as well as having T.D.G., WHMIS, and NH3 certification.

Richard is married to Tracy and has one daughter Jada, and two sons Carter and Dillon. He enjoys playing golf, hockey, baseball, camping and the outdoors. He is currently employed with Viterra as a Facility Operations Manager.

"I enjoy socializing and meeting new people. I take pleasure in serving the community and surrounding area through the fire department and the various activities they take part in. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and strive to provide a healthy, happy environment for my family."
